TS-90 Series

P90 inspired tone in a standard Tele single coil size bridge pickup with adjustable pole piece screws. Wound with 43 gauge magnet wire the TS-90 produces familiar Tele tones but with a bigger bottom end and classic P-90 growl when pushed.

Like a full size P-90 the TS-90 is extremely touch sensitive as well.

White Tie® Series
We use the same vintage style bobbins as our Black Tie set but with US made Alnico 5 magnets and optional raised D & G string poles. Wound with 42 gauge magnet wire the White Tie bridge pickup has a very full traditional Telecaster sound, smoother mid range and slightly warmer highs with classic Tele twang to spare. The bridge pickup is wrapped in white string and  carefully wax potted to eliminate unwanted micro-phonics. Includes plated steel base plate and push back cloth covered leads.

The White Tie neck pickup is wound with 43 gauge magnet wire for a clear crisp unmistakable Tele tone. Available cover options are raw nickel, nickel silver and gold.

RW/RP  for hum canceling in the middle position is standard. An additional cover ground wire for 4 way (series) operation is available at no charge on all Tele series neck pickups.

Telecaster Pickups

Based on the mid to late 1960's Tele pickups our Low Wind bridge pickups are constructed with US made Alnico 5 rod magnets and grey bottom flat work. Hand wound with 42 gauge magnet wire to mid 1960's specs. These lower output pickups are super clean with medium to high compression and plenty of clean Tele twang. A tribute to the clean Bakersfield tones of iconic players such as Don Rich.

The neck pickup is a bit lower in output than the pre CBS Tele pickups. Hand wound with 43 gauge magnet wire for all around clean tones. Cover options include raw nickel, nickel silver, gold and chrome. An additional cover ground wire for 4 way (series) operation is available at no charge on all T series neck pickups.  Bridge 6.3k/ Neck 7.5k

S-tone neck pickup

Stratocaster Tone for Telecaster  neck position

If you've been searching for a true Strat tone from your Tele the S-Tone delivers like no other. There is no need to rout out your Tele body to fit a Strat pickup or compromise the look by removing the cover or having a semi-open top cover. The S-Tone has a full sized nickel cover to retain the traditional Tele appearance. We'll let the sound samples speak for themselves .

Black Tie®  Series

Our Black Tie Telecaster series is based on the very early 1950’s Broadcaster pickups.  American made Alnico 3 magnets hand wound with 43 gauge magnet wire to produce tones from classic Tele twang to a serious growl with great sustain. The bridge pickup is wrapped with white string then potted with the same “lamp black” wax mixture that Leo Fender used over 60 years ago to eliminate unwanted micro-phonics and duplicate the look and tone of the very early originals. Includes steel base plate and push-back cloth covered leads for true vintage sound and appearance.

The Alnico 5 neck pickup is hand wound with 43 gauge magnet wire producing vintage Tele chime to complete this balanced set.

Available with your choice of a raw nickel,  nickel silver or gold cover.
